As beautiful as this butterfly might be, this creature of grace did not always start off this way. In fact, it went through four different stages, metamorphosing from a little caterpillar to a remarkable butterfly.

Who are we?
From the outside looking in,
you could never understand it
From the inside looking out,
you could never explain it
A sorority symbolizes all we wish
to accomplish in our lives,
Whether it be the struggles e face
or the mountains we must climb
When we put on our true colors
What is it that you see?
Just the glitz and glamour
or women just like you and me?
When we adorn ourselves
in royal blue, green, white and gold.
Remember that there is a story
behind each face, yet to be told
True colors go beyond
what our bodies wear
It is so deep,
that there is too much to be shared.
Royal blue representing royalty,
friendship and sophistication
White and green speaks of the purity,
wealth and regeneration
Gold reminds us of wisdom,
one of God’s greatest treasures
Women that are strong, smart
and beautiful beyond measure
These are the true colors
